Generated Title: Trump's CZ Pardon: Either He's Clueless or We're All Being Played
Okay, so Trump pardoned Binance's CZ, Changpeng Zhao. Cool. Fine. Whatever. But then he goes on "60 Minutes" and says he has "no idea who he is." Right. And I'm supposed to believe that? Give me a freakin' break.
The "I Don't Know Him" Gambit
Trump claims he doesn't know CZ, despite the pardon. Trump says he has 'no idea who' Binance's CZ is after pardoning him He blames the "vicious, horrible group of people in the Biden administration" for setting CZ up. He even throws in the "my sons are into crypto" line as if that somehow explains everything. It's all so… convenient.
Let's be real, this reeks of the same old Trump playbook. Deny, deflect, and blame someone else. And people eat it up. They want to believe he's fighting the deep state, even when the evidence suggests otherwise.
But here's the thing: even if Trump did genuinely believe CZ was wronged, does that justify a pardon? CZ pleaded guilty to failing to sufficiently combat money laundering! We're talking about billions of dollars potentially funding terrorism and child abuse. But hey, as long as Trump gets to stick it to Biden, right?
I mean, the hypocrisy is offcourse astounding. Trump's team was all over Biden for supposedly not knowing what he was signing with that autopen nonsense. Now Trump's pulling the same "I have no idea" card?
Crypto, Pardons, and Political Theater
Trump says he wants the U.S. to be the "head" of the crypto industry. Okay, that's one way to look at it. Another way is that he's just trying to cash in on the crypto craze, same as everyone else.

And let's not forget Binance had to cough up $4.3 billion to settle allegations of enabling illicit activities. That's not exactly a ringing endorsement for the industry, is it?
Maybe I'm just being cynical. Maybe Trump really is just a naive grandpa who stumbled into the crypto world and accidentally pardoned a guy he's never heard of. Then again, maybe I'm the crazy one here.
Seriously, though, is anyone actually buying this? The guy's a master manipulator. He knows exactly what he's doing.
So, What Now?
So, CZ's a free man (well, he was already released from jail in September 2024, apparently). Trump gets to play the victim card and score points with his base. And the rest of us are left scratching our heads, wondering what the hell just happened.
The whole thing feels like a poorly written reality show.
